Many Banbury Branch ringers will remember Dick Hughes, who died peacefully, surrounded by family, at his home on Tuesday, 28th October 2025.

Dick, who started ringing late in life, learned to ring at Cropredy and Bloxham and became a regular ringer at Wardington until activities were interrupted because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The funeral will take place at St Mary the Virgin, Cropredy, on 26th November 2025 at 11:00 am. There will be ringing before the funeral from 10:00 am.
